This isn't our first hike ever, just since moving to the Berkshires in Massachusetts. Before moving here we were living in an area without many hiking trails so we spent most of our time outside at parks (not bad, I just prefer hiking). Comparatively speaking this place is heaven on earth. There are lots of places to go hiking and most don't cost anything. So, the first place I took my kids hiking were on the trails at The Clark art museum. We hiked up to the stone bench, had lunch and hiked back down. These trails are well maintained, moderate in difficulty and offer beautiful views of the town below. Enjoy the pictures.
Notice that you see mostly trees in the town we live in. Couldn't get any better.
